How to make a Raindance AI Trend video

  1. Add one or two photos

A clear photo of your face works alone. Add a second photo to make it a duet, the way the original song is sung by two voices.

  2. Keep Raindance selected

This page opens the creator on the Raindance effect, so the pier, the sunset and the camera moves are already set.

  3. Pick a length

Five seconds covers the cut and the close-up. Eight or ten seconds leaves room for the last wide view on the edge of the pier.

  4. Add the song when you post

The clip comes with a soft, made-up backing. Pick Raindance in the TikTok or Instagram sound library, lay it over and turn the clip's own audio down.

Ways to play the Raindance AI trend

The pier and the light stay the same, so pick the photo and the person that make the cut land:

  • The duet

Two photos, two singers. Couples, best friends and siblings all work, and it matches the two voices on the track.

  • The most unlikely singer

Cast the friend who only ever sings in the car. The slow push-in does the rest.

  • Office photo to sunset

Start from a work badge photo or a desk selfie. The plainer the first second, the bigger the cut feels.

  • Anniversary surprise

Use a photo of the two of you from the year you met, then send the clip with the song on your anniversary.

  • Grandma on the pier

Older faces in warm golden light look great. Use a recent, sharp photo so the close-up holds up.

  • Long-distance friends

Two photos from two cities, one pier. Send it to the friend you have not seen since they moved away.

What is the Raindance AI trend?

Raindance is a song by Dave featuring Tems, released in October 2025 on Dave's album The Boy Who Played the Harp. Its video plays the two singers as a couple by the sea at sunset. In autumn 2026 people started recreating that feeling with AI: an ordinary photo, a quick switch, and suddenly you are the one singing on a pier in the evening light.

This page does not use the official video or the song. Our Raindance effect builds a new scene around your photo, and you add the track yourself when you post. We are not connected to Dave, Tems or their labels.

Why make it here

The same studio behind our ai rap video generator makes this: if a render does not finish, the credits come back on their own, and if a finished one looks wrong, tell us and we will look at it.

Effects cost 1 credit per second, so a five-second Raindance clip is 5 credits and a ten-second one is 10. You will find packs and plans on the pricing page.

Want them singing your own words?

The Raindance effect is a fixed scene with no lyrics, built for the song you add later. If you want a song that is actually about your partner, try a personalized love song: you write or edit the lines and the two of you perform them.

For an anniversary, the personalized anniversary song does the same with lines about your years together.

Photos that work best

Pick photos where the face is sharp, front-on and evenly lit. Waist-up photos give the close-up more to work with than full-length ones.

For a duet, two photos taken in similar light blend best on the pier. Faces, hair and skin tone stay true to your photos; if something looks off, tell us and we will look at it.
